The Hungry Ant (with only 4 functional legs) has escaped the colony... (he was hungry :000000000000) 

He saw his human eating rice at the dining table and he went over to eat some of the rice that dropped on the table, but the human finished eating and started spraying big bad disinfectant spray :( 

But The Hungry Ant persists because he's hungry. He thinks it's high risk high reward 

Eat as much rice as possible and fulfill your hunger while avoiding splashes of disinfectant spray!

How to play :)

• Eat the pill-shaped objects (I had to say this because someone thought it was ant eggs :sob:) by coming in contact with them to fill your hunger bar
• Avoid the blue puddles because they make you lose health
• Don't let your hunger bar drop to 0! You will die of hunger... 
• Once you fill the hunger bar to 100%, you win 
• There's a speedrun timer at the bottom right corner so you can keep getting faster timings and be a fast rice eater

Controls

• WASD standard top down movement
• Escape to pause game
• That's about it (unless you count left clicking buttons)

About this project and notes

This game is for the Brainless. Game Jam. This is not only my first game jam but also the first "complete" game I have made in my gamedev journey (of 1 month). If you played this masterpiece and are reading this right now, thank you so much! The game is not perfect especially when it comes to being choppy and full of bugs because I am super beginner but I hope I made it at least a bit playable. One bug I am aware of is taking two hearts of damage from contact of the spray once, but due to time constraints I can't fix it so just assume it's an unlucky spray :) I really enjoyed making this game and it really gave me a sense of how gamedev feels like. I am super grateful I made the decision 2 weeks ago at 2am to join the jam even with 2 weeks of experience and exams around the corner. I am also even more grateful for Brainless. for inspiring me to even start gamedev in the first place :DDDDD But more importantly, thank YOU for playing my game. It's an honor for you to use your precious time to play my game, so tysm
